Indoor Skydiving – from just £49.99!

What is indoor skydiving?

Indoor skydiving is an experience that gives you the feeling of skydiving, but without the need for a plane or parachute! A vertical wind tunnel gives a steady stream of air, holding you up so you can experience the feeling of freefall.

As it’s an indoor experience it’s not reliant on the weather, unlike a jump from a plane. The whole process is very simple, with a short training process and little specific equipment needed.

Is there an indoor skydiving centre near me?

Indoor skydiving is offered at three main centres in the UK:

How much does indoor skydiving cost?

Indoor skydiving costs from £49.99. That gives you two ‘flights’ of one minute each, the equivalent in freefall terms as three tandem skydives! An extended session is available for just £89.99 which gives you four flights – double the fun!

How do I book?

Simply buy a voucher online, either for yourself or as a gift, and then use the contact details on your voucher to book your jump.

The experience includes everything you need for your freefall jumps:

  • Your training, including bodyflying techniques
  • Locker and equipment hire
  • Two one minute flights (giving you the same freefall time as 3 tandem skydives)
  • An experience gift pack which includes a personalised voucher and message card
  • Insurance giving personal accident cover to £50,000 plus cancellation indemnity

What happens on the day?

You should allow around 1hr 45 minutes for your visit. When you arrive you’ll need to sign a statement of risk to confirm your state of health and fitness. If you’re under 18 this will need to be signed by your parent/guardian.

Then it’s on to meet your instructors for your training! You’ll practise flying positions and get kitted up with your flight suit, helmet and goggles.

Now you’re ready for your flights! You enter the tunnel and the air is gently switched on to lift you into a flying position. It’s time to put your training into practise. Once your flights are completed you receive the DVD of your flight if you’ve ordered photos or video, plus your flight certificate.

COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures

We’re delighted that the indoor skydiving centres at Manchester, Milton Keynes and Basingstoke are now open again for flights! There are, of course, a number of new health & safety protocols in place including:

  • Social distancing and hygiene measures.
  • Flight equipment laundered and sanitised after every use.
  • Limited spectator numbers.
  • Smaller group sizes.

Watch the video above to see how the centres have put the highest safety and hygiene standards in place.
